This past week, I noticed in my mobile data settings and APN settings that Mint Mobile service has full access point to T-MObile LTE US. The same T-Mobile APN settings now works with Mint Mobile. I even ran speed tests and notice the difference in the data speeds and connection. Below is the step by step APN setup you should be on for Mint Mobile under T-Mobile network. APN Settings for Mint Mobile:
Tap on Phone Settings.
Tap on Connections.
Tap on Mobile Networks tab.
Select Access Point Name tab.
Tap on ADD button.
Insert Name: T-Mobile US LTE
Insert APN Name: fast.t-mobile.com
Leave Proxy empty
Leave Port empty
Leave username empty
Leave Password empty
Leave Server empty
For MMSC insert: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
APN type: default,supl,mms,xcap
APN protocol: IPv6
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Tap on SAVE and select this new APN as your Access Point.
And this how you change the APN settings for your Mint Mobile service.
