Google Play Pass is a subscription service that gives subscribers access to a selection of Android apps and games for a monthly or yearly fee:

Ad-free: All ads are removed from the included content

In-app purchase free: All in-app purchases and paid titles are unlocked

Exclusive offers: Subscribers receive exclusive offers for top games each month

New titles: New titles are added to the catalog on a monthly basis

As of July 2022, a Google Play Pass subscription costs $5 per month or $30 per year. Up to five family members can share a subscription. However, apps are tied to the subscription, so subscribers can't download and own them in the traditional way. Developers can also choose to remove their apps from Play Pass, but existing owners can continue to use them for a period of time.
