The BEST Apps That Don't Need WiFi or Data 2021

No WiFi Signal icon logo

There are still thousands and millions of cellular customers and users that use their cellular phones in many different ways. Some would rather have this so-called thing called UNLIMITED PLANS and then there are others that dont use a lot of data. We even have some users that perfer to just rely on WiFi Only. Last it is still a group out here today that are just perfectly fine with only having talk and text. Look all these options are around and all are great to have! But lets say your paritcular carrier or cellular network has an outage for the or so or if you are not within range of a cellular tower? Well, how about if you are this person that lives off WiFi or Home Internet only lifestyle and no WiFi is around or no Internet at all? Well, did you all know that your mobile devices still can function even without unlimited data or WiFi networks or signals? This can be called two different things.  This is what is said to be Offline Mode or AirPlane Mode. Some of most popular apps and services (Free or Paid) can still work and run fine even without these things. Would like to give a special shout out TextNow and LifeWire. Both companies and sites have great content and information on the best apps to use in any situation. So feel free to check out their sites for full detail information. Below is the list of apps that will work on and offline.  Now these apps have option for downloading content on to your mobile device for free or you will need a paid subscription. Even further more, in order to download the content that you would like to have even without an internet connection, you MUST first have a stable connection rather its data or WiFi to get the content that you want for offline access. Also I will add in a few bonus apps and services that can help you as to take advantage of loss cellular signal or wifi.  Check these out.

TEXTNOW APP LIST FOR OFFLINE and No WiFi:
Music app:
Spotify- You can use Spotify Offline for free with only Podcasts. This feature allows you to listen to podcasts offline when downloading to your mobile device. Some podcasts are even in video mode as well. This may take up a little more device storage versus the audile only section. If you would like your Spotify Music Playlist to play offline, you will need to join Spotify Premium which satrting price @ $9.99/mo or student discount at $4.99/mo or even more with family plan at $15.99/mo.

MOVIES AND TV:
For movies and tv shows and viewing offline, there are tons of apps and services you can try and download, but want to keep this at a minium here. So TextNow blog would recommend users trying Peacock TV, Disney+, or Disney+ Bundle with Hulu and ESPN+.

With the free version of Peacock TV, its a select few items that you can stream using the free version. No, you can not download on the free version of Peacock TV, but there are tons of titles and movies to choose from to binge on to while on WiFi or your data plan. If you want to download content from the Peacock TV app you'll need to pay $9.99/mo for offline access to your favorite titles amd shows.

Disney+ is $6.99/mo to download offline content, hulu is $5.99/mo and ESPN+ is $6.99/mo for All-Acess to the titles and shows for offline access.  If you decide to bundle the 3 youll get all 3 for $13.99/mo. So keep all these into consideration if you are going to pay and use them all in a bundle.  Just remember that they will allow you to use the services even without WiFi or data.
